Making a User Inactive


If a user leaves employment of the office, you should inactivate the user instead of deleting the user account. This allows you to access their existing quote and orders.

Log in to the Whalen Parts Program and select User Administration from the Admin menu. Select the user from the list and click  to open the User Administration page.

1.In the User Account Settings section, uncheck the User is Active check box. You may optionally clear the other check boxes as well, but it is not necessary in case the user is re-activated at a later time.

1.Click  button to return to the User Administration page.

2.The user will now be unable to log into the system. All their quotes and orders will remain in the system.
